Punch Brothers New York Concert reviews
Acoustics sucked
The venue was well staffed and nice. Everyone was helpful and super friendly. The seats were packed in like sardines, but that's how all the shows at Harrah's have been. What I could hear during the show was HILARIOUS. It was pretty warm, but again seems to be the norm. The first opening act was completely unintelligible. I asked an usher guy if they were going to fix it, but he said he didn't know. It was really bad, the echo throughout the entire show. Ashy Larry had more physical comedy so I picked up more of what he said. I still had to strain really hard to hear Punch Brothers through the echo. Very frustrating to pay good money and travel 5 hours to see a show only to miss half for the shitty acoustics.
